This year’s U-Pick Day on the farm is sold out. If you would like to receive notifications about next events happening next season, follow this link to receive emails from our farm.
Saturday, September 16
10 am – 1 pm
$20 a bucket
This is a ticketed event
Each ticket provides one bucket. The farm’s address will be provided upon ticket purchase. Proceeds benefit nature-based healing for survivors of intimate partner abuse.
Can friends and family share a bucket?
Yes. Each ticket will provide one bucket for picking, but friends and family can share a bucket.
What time should I arrive?
This is a drop-in event. Gates won’t be open until 10 am, so please don’t arrive too early. It’s best to arrive by noon, so you have about an hour to spend in the fields.
What flowers will be available for picking?
We expect plenty of sunflowers, zinnias, cone flowers, and other late season blooms will be available.
What should I bring and wear?
We’ll provide your bucket and have lots of scissors available for cutting. Bring your own gloves and clippers, if you’ve got ’em. Dress for the weather and wear old shoes that can get dirty.
Can I bring my dog?
Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. We ask that you keep the leash short and not allow your dog to wander in the fields or nibble on the flowers.
What if it's raining on the day?
We’ll pick through sprinkles and light rain, but the event will likely be canceled should it thunderstorm before or during the event. If the event is canceled because of weather, we’ll send an email to the address you provided during checkout. If you provided a mobile phone, we’ll also send you a text. You will be given the option for a refund if bad weather causes cancellation.
What if I can't attend after purchasing my bucket?
The option for refunds will only be provided if the event is canceled because of bad weather. If you can’t attend after purchasing your bucket, the ticket is transferable. Please share with a friend or family member to enjoy.
Is my purchase tax deductible?
Probably not. The value of the flowers is equal to market price. But we always recommend you consult a tax professional for final determination.
