Sedona Taphouse has chosen us for Dine Out for Charity. Each Monday in October, have lunch or dinner with a qualifying meal and some profits will go to support the mission. Stop by our resource table at dinner and say hi!

Rock Relief is on Saturday, October 11 from 1 pm to 11 pm! Canvas and @thecellarlexington will host a day of amazing local music to raise awareness and funds.

The @lexkypolice and Grace Baptist Church are hosting Faith & Blue on Sunday, October 12 from noon to 2 pm. There will be food, donation opportunities, family fun, and interactive public safety exhibitions.

UK CSL students prepared dinner for residents and harvested gomphrena and celosia to dry for crafts.

Hilton Hotel volunteers made lasagna soup, cleaned the kitchen, and helped us catch up on dishes.

Members of the Williamstown Woman's Club delivered generous donations to the emergency shelter.

Weโ€™re remembering a very special member of our f Weโ€™re remembering a very special member of our farm family. ๐Ÿ’œ 

Earlier this year, JB Minor Burn , JB, passed away at nearly 36 years old. He was the beloved horse of Lyndsay, a longtime advocate in the mission, and lived with us on the farm for many years. 

Lyndsay shares:  JB was a very special horse and he can never be replaced. Iโ€™m very thankful that I got to spend so many years with him. Here are some of his accomplishments - 

๐Ÿ’– A successful harness racehorse, racing over 100 times before his retirement. 

๐Ÿ’– Served in the Sitting Tall riding program for children with disabilities. 

๐Ÿ’– Qualified for the Michigan State 4H Competition in the Contesting Division. 

๐Ÿ’– Completed hundreds of miles of trails including the Shore-to-Shore ride from Lake Huron to Lake Michigan. 

๐Ÿ’– Was the first horseback ride for countless friends and their children. 

๐Ÿ’– Most of all, he was my best friend. ๐Ÿ’—
