Five Flyer Challenge

You’ve been challenged to print and hang five flyers during Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October.

Remind victims and survivors in our community that advocates are standing by to support them, every hour of the day, every day of the year.

Print five copies of our 24-hour hotline tear-sheet flyers and keep them in your bag or car during the month of October. While you’re out and about in the community, pin a flyer on bulletin boards at coffee shops, gyms, libraries and more.

Support Takes Root.

Imagine being told no one will believe you. Being gaslighted and wondering if you’re to blame. Feeling afraid and alone–and not knowing where to turn for help.

But one day you see this flyer posted in a safe place.

You tear away the hotline number, fold up the small piece of paper, and hide it behind a card in your wallet. When the time is right, the number to talk to someone who will believe and support you is nearby.

Now imagine 10 other people in the community participate in the Five Flyer Challenge. That’s more than 50 places and spaces where the hotline number is available.

Download and print your five flyers from these links.

  • Hotline Tear-flyer (English)
  • Línea de Crisis Folleto de Lágrimain (Spanish)

Take photos of the flyers you post to share on social media and inspire others to join the Five Flyer Challenge!  And we hope you’ll send a note to Hallie, our community engagement specialist, to let us know you’re participating.
