Shelter Renovation Begins!
Renovation of the emergency shelter began today! The effort will create additional bedrooms at the shelter, increase safety and confidentiality for survivors, and improve use of space at the facility.

Following early planning meetings with the architect, funders, and construction management team, we began to prepare the shelter for the construction scheduled to begin on January 14.

Few renovations beyond cosmetic improvements were necessary in 2005 when we moved into the 17,000 sq ft facility previously occupied by Bellewood Presbyterian Home for Children in rural Fayette County.
Community gathered today to support the launch of the Children’s Safe Exchange and Visitation program in Lexington-Fayette County.
As a nonprofit organization, our work is guided by our Board of Directors.
